Software supporting a medical practice built as a subcontract for a well-known software company. Gabinet NS is a program supporting the running of a medical practice: it keeps patient records, registration, and a database of all drugs approved for sale in our country, together with full information on their purpose, dosage and contraindications. The program automatically prints prescriptions and sick notes, filling them in from the patient records and the description of the selected drugs, as well as invoices and various summaries, saving the doctor a great deal of time. The program also has a warehouse module.
Hotel reception software Another commissioned program from the same company - the Pensjonat NS program supports running a hotel and restaurant. It keeps a guest register and the hotel's ledger, handles the reservation of rooms and/or restaurant tables, issues bills and invoices and prints basic summaries, and it also includes a warehouse module. A very convenient graphical interface lets you see at a glance how full the rooms are over any period and check their availability on a given date.
Software for bulk ripping of audio streams Custom software for a regular client. It monitors in parallel from several to several dozen internet radio audio streams defined by the user, and saves to disk the songs broadcast by those stations if they are not yet in its database (or replaces a file of poorer quality with a better one). It allows multi-criteria searching of the saved tracks database using SQL-style queries, and of course playing the tracks.
software for ... hmm - so you want to be a millionaire? One of many similar commissions. Like many others, the client believed that the numbers drawn in previous draws influence the results of future draws. The program's task is to search for dependencies between draws of Multilotek. It contains an extremely fast algorithm for comparing sets of numbers - checking whether a combination occurred in a given draw takes just 3 processor cycles, which allows it to check billions of combinations in an acceptable time.
software supporting industrial pig fattening it collects data about the animals, monitors feed doses, reminds you in good time about the need for periodic vaccinations, and allows you to run simulations of the profitability of particular farming variants based on the costs of feed, energy and labour, and the expected weight gain of the animals. (the only coursework program in this list - completed but unfortunately never paid for. The client placed an order, and after the program was written stopped answering e-mails. This fact was the last straw that led to the introduction of the requirement to pay a deposit)
