Performance monitoring system Built to order for the company Stampcot sp. z o.o. This is a system for monitoring the performance of rotary presses, which monitors in real time up to 8 rotary presses connected by a signal cable to the controller built by us. This controller, which is based on a PIC18F4550 processor, counts the electrical pulses sent by the presses each time they finish a part, storing the results in its own memory. The next element of the system is the ScUpdater program, which starts together with the system and waits for the controller to be connected. When that happens, it reads the accumulated information from the controller's memory and passes it on to a PostgreSQL server visible on the company's local network. From there, copies of the ScViewer program, running in the company's management offices, download the data and present the monitored data in real time, and also over various time periods, including as daily and weekly charts ...

Program reading data from the controller ScUpdate is a program that starts with Windows. It is a resident program monitoring the computer's USB ports and waiting for the controller to be connected. When the controller is connected, it reads from the memory of the pic18f4550 processor the information stored there about the state of the counters and saves it in a database. If the controller remains connected, data about subsequent parts produced by the presses are not saved in its memory but directly in the SQL database. The program works together with a PostgreSQL server, which should be visible on the company's local network to all computers on which we want to run the program that displays the collected data. Nothing stands in the way of it also being visible over the internet - such a solution makes it possible to monitor the performance of the presses from any computer in the world.

ScViewer - counter readings ScViewer is a program used to visualise the data about the performance of the monitored machines, in its various aspects, which is held in the SQL database. The program connects to the database located on a PostgreSQL server. It reads from it, in real time, the current counter readings of individual presses, as well as other information related to work performance. The screenshot alongside shows the current counter readings of all connected machines ...

Number of parts produced
the SvViewer program lets you follow on an ongoing basis the number of parts produced in a given day. This data is presented over various time periods, which can be freely changed from within the program - the day can be divided into shifts or even into individual hours... By default the program shows data from today, but nothing prevents you from browsing data from any production day in this way ...

Daily production chartsthe data presented above can also be viewed in the form of charts. You can see how many parts a given machine has produced in a given time period, and how this compares with the norm defined for it (these norms vary depending on the parts produced by the presses). Here too you can define the time frames for individual bars.
|
|
Weekly charts ScViewer also allows you to view weekly production charts. Norms are defined here too; in this case each bar is a day of the week ...
